Time for the holy trinity of summer cocktails: booze, soda, and sorbet!

Soda!


What’s better than soda?Booze! Especially cocktails!


But even better? Ice cream! Sorbet, in particular.

Lime Ricky Float Margarita by Bobby Flay



Serves: 4

15 fresh sour or sweet Bing cherries, pitted

¼ cup agave nectar

¼ cup maraschino liqueur

8 oz. silver tequila, such as

½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice

Lime sorbet

Lime or cherry flavored club soda

Cherries, with stems for garnish

Lime wedge, for garnish

Mint sprig, for garnish

1. Combine the cherries, agave nectar, and maraschino liqueur in a blender and blend a few times to coarsely chop the cherries. Transfer to a pitcher, add the tequila and lime juice, cover and refrigerate until really cold, at least two hours.

2. Put a scoop of sorbet into four margarita glasses, divide the margarita mix among the glasses, add club soda and garnish with cherry, lime wedge and mint sprig.
