Ommegang Gnomegang Blonde Ale

What could be better than a gnome-themed brew?

Today’s buzz is another great beer from New York’s Brewery Ommegang, Gnomegang. 


We love the color, the label, and the fun word play with gnomes…


But don’t be deceived by this cheery Belgian-style blonde: This stuff is strong (it’s got an ABV of 9.5%) and hoppy. Several malt varieties and some Saaz hops make it full-bodied and super tasty. We think it’s perfect for light Sunday snacking on cheese, mustard, pretzels, and fries, or heavier meals like lamb sausage and kraut. It’s a great thing to gulp down as we ease into spring. Just try not to go too nuts on the stuff…
