There are hours left to make help these Bushwick brewers make beer magic!

You’re probably familiar with Kickstarter, the crowdfunding platform that helps launch films, city projects, and other great causes. And what cause is greater to Maxim than beer? None! So when we met with businessmen and brewers Eric Feldman and Marshall Thompson, we knew we wanted to support their buzztastic project, Braven Brewing.


Braven will be the first brewery in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and home to delicious craft beers, like their Black and White brews. We tasted both, and we assure you, they are delectable. The White is a combo of a German-style wheat beer with bright, spicy hops. The Black is a sessional version of a dark IPA that’s perfect for cold-weather drinking. Both go down easy and keep you wanting more – and we definitely want more, which brings us to the Kickstarter campaign. There are literally hours left to help launch the brewery.


Pledgers have the opportunity to receive some sweet merch, score invites to an exclusive backers party, spend a day in the brewery to help produce their beer, design their own craft beer recipes, and even get their names on a mash tun or brew kettle inside the brewery! But the greatest prize to come out of supporting this project is all the yummy beers, to be available this spring! In addition to the Black and White, Braven has some amazing seasonal recipes up their sleeves, including an intense Día stout, with notes of chocolate, habanero, and orange. Delicioso, y’all! So get to backing these guys and make our sudsy dreams come true!
