Amber Heard Is Officially on Board as Mera in ‘Justice League’

The future wife of Aquaman is ready to dive in to her new role.

After much speculation in mid-January, 29-year old Amber Heard has finally confirmed her role as Mera in the 2017’s live-action version of Justice League, and later on in the standalone Aquaman film opposite Jason Momoa. There’s no word as to how involved Mrs. Johnny Depp will be, but you can bet that the Queen of Atlantis will be properly suited up for her life under the ocean. 

“It’s interesting. It’s like, half suit of armor, half scales,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s strange… We’re in the process of building it now, so it’s coming along.”

Justice League Part One hits theaters on November 17th, 2017 with Aquaman directed by James Wan (The Conjuring, Furious 7) not far behind on July 27, 2018.
