Give It Up for the College Student Who Rode a Barbie Jeep Around Campus After She Got a DWI
She seems fun.
Texas State junior Tara Monroe recently received a DWI (which we don’t condone) because she refused to take a breathalyzer test when she was pulled over driving home from a Waka Flocka concert. Her dad seized her car, and left her with a bike as her primary mode of transportation.
But Tara wasn’t having that shit. “Riding a bike around campus sucks,” she told MySanAntonio.com. “Like really sucks.”
Damn right, Tara, biking really sucks. So the 20-year-old logged onto Craigslist and bought a Barbie Jeep for $60 from a kid named Charlene. (Who said millennials aren’t resourceful?)
“When we drove up to buy it Charlene asked where the little one was to test drive it to which I replied, ‘I am the little one,’” she also told MySA.com. In your face, Charlene.
The pink Jeep goes 5 MPH and has turned Tara into a legend on campus—and beyond.
