What We’re Watching Today: David Duchovny and Ginuwine

Unfortunately, not at the same time.

Still can’t get that photo of Bill Belichick planting one on his daughter scrubbed clean from your brain? Yeah, us neither. Here’s what we’re watching to try to forget.

What We’re Watching Right Now

It’s all coming up David Duchovny. The actor’s debut novel, “Holy Cow,” comes out today from Farrar, Strauss and Girroux. It’s about a cow who goes through an existential crisis and ends up journeying across the Middle East with a pig and a turkey. Just read it for yourself – the first chapter is up here.

Even more compelling, he’s back on the acting front with the forthcoming gritty crime show, Aquarius. Duchovny plays Los Angeles cop in 1967 who’s on the trail of a missing teen – and Charles Manson. The teaser trailer, below, has us all in for True Detective: Fox Mulder.

What We’re Watching Later When We’re Bored

We’re getting meta with Business Work. This absurdist web series has the same vibes as great shorts from the late nineties and early aughts that made us fall in love with the genre in the first place. And if you think your office sucks, just be glad you don’t work with these weirdos:

What We’re Watching Tonight

We’re watching the last season Parks and Recreation with a heavy heart, but can’t wait for Donna and Joe to tie the knot on tonight’s episode – and for Ginuwine to guest-star.

Prepare yourself with another viewing of the “Pony” video.
