In the Dystopian future of Repo Men, privatized health care provides people with state-of-the-art replacement organs, allowing them to live longer, fuller lives. But read the fine print. If you can't pay the exorbitant prices for your robo-liver or turbo lungs, your corporate caregiver will dispatch armed men to your house or place of employment to, literally, rip their property from your body.
Jude Law and Forest Whitaker star as Remy and Jake, two repos doing their thing under the watchful eye of their slimy, used car salesman manager Frank (Liev Schreiber). Things get complicated when Remy is forced to go on the run with a mysterious woman (Alice Braga) with several million dollars worth of spare parts in her chassis.
We sat down with the cast to discuss pessimism, body parts and, of course, whether or not Liev will ever get to cuddle kittens on camera.
Repo Men is in theaters now.
