As you’ve probably heard, Beastie Boy Adam Yauch (a.k.a. MCA) died today and suddenly the world is a lot less wonderful. We grew up listening to the Beastie Boys, as we tried (and failed) to write our own killer raps. While we could barely rhyme the words “side” with “outside”, MCA, AD-Rock and Mike D were knocking out killer beats and lines so tight you could bounce a quarter off of them.
