Brad Pitt Smacked by Serial Prankster At “Maleficent” Premiere

Ukrainian Vitalii Sediuk hops the velvet rope and strikes again.

At last night’s premiere of Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent, public prankster Vitalii Sediuk showed up and surprised Brad Pitt with a quick smack to the face. Hopping the security barrier, Sediuk assaulted the actor while he was signing autographs. Pitt demonstrated his expert ability to handle an uncomfortable situation by simply moving on to the next autograph as though nothing had happened. Sediuk, on the other hand, was promptly tackled and cuffed by security. He faces a misdemeanor battery charge and is being held on $20,000 bail.


This is the fourth celebrity prank that has landed Sediuk in the spotlight this year. His first target wasLeonardo DiCaprio’s groin. He then made headlines for kissingWill Smith, who promptly smacked him. And earlier this month, at the Cannes Film Festival, Sediuk crawled under America Ferrera’s dress at a screening of How to Train Your Dragon 2.
