‘PornBurger’ is the Ultimate Cookbook for Burger Fanatics

Dig into dozens of orgasmic creations from a self-proclaimed “burger pervert.”

“The photos make me drool and the recipes make me sweat with excitement” – so says super chef Mario Batali about PornBurger: Hot Buns and Juicy Beefcakes (Ecco Books), the borderline-obscene new cookbook from chef Mathew Ramsey, a self-professed “burger pervert.” 

With names like The Horn Dog, The Spread Eagle, and The Lolita, you could say Ramsey’s creations do more than melt in your mouth. Picture Paris Hilton in that Carl’s Jr. ad – but even dirtier – and you’ll get the general idea.

Then there are his celebrity-inspired meat bombs including the Croque Van Damme, James Francophile, Spamela Anderson and Bill U Murray Me? The “artfully designed, cheekily written, and lushly photographed manifesto” has ’em all for backyard barbecuers and gourmet wannabes in search of an “off-the-charts gastronomic experience.”

As a bit of an amuse bouche here’s Ramsey’s recipe for the Bill U Murray Me?, but you’ll need to pre-order the book on Amazon for the lowdown on some of his proprietary ingredients:

PornBurger Smoky Burger Sauce; Grilled red onions; Sliced tomato; 1 Juicy Floozy patty (seared on the outside, medium-rare on the inside, with a molten core of melted cheese and creamy sous-vide egg yolk); A few slices of crisp-cooked applewood-smoked bacon; Jalapeno Pickles; Shredded romaine lettuce; 1 Sesame Brioche Bun.

As for the Murray connection, “I’m pretty sure this is what he whispered into Scarlett Johansson’s ear at the end of Lost in Translation,” Ramsey says.
