Dwight Howard Took a Loaded Gun to the Airport and No One Cared

The Texas district attorney declined to hack a Howard. 

What happens if you’re Dwight Howard and you take a loaded gun to the airport? Not a damn thing, apparently.

TMZ is reporting that the Rockets center brought a loaded handgun to the George Bush Airport in Houston last Friday. The gun wasn’t found until his bag ran through security. After determining that Howard’s Glock 9mm was loaded, the authorities  let him hand it over to a friend and let Howard continue on his merry way.

Texas has pretty loose gun laws, which goes a long way toward explaining Howard’s lack of legal trouble here. But so does the confidence of everyone in Houston that, given the way he shoots, he’d only ever hit air.
