Kanye’s latest protege’ is more badass than ever in this artsy new clip.
Teyana Taylor garnered some well-deserved attention for her sizzling role in Kanye West‘s video for his single, “Fade.” We expect she’s about to get even more recognition for this oddball video for “Champions (freestyle).”
Shot entirely in stop-motion by Sasha Samsanova, the stunning R&B siren spits some hard lyrics while shimmying through a dark concrete bunker in nothing more than gold flake body paint.
Things get a little freaky when she pulls on a ski mask and starts toting a pair of automatic pistols, but hey, we’re down for that, too.
You can expect to be hearing (and hopefully seeing) a lot more of Teyana in the future, as she told W magazine she’s working on a follow-up to her 2014 debut album VII and has “some big stuff in the works.”
