A while ago, we told you that hotel sex is the best sex, simply because the novelty of banging in a totally new setting is basically the greatest aphrodisiac in the world.

When you have sex in a hotel room (or any other novel place) instead of your own bedroom, you get a huge rush of dopamine, and dopamine is the neurotransmitter that controls the reward and pleasure center of your brain. And since novel experiences stimulate dopamine transmission, hotel sex feels extra, extra amazing.

And that’s exactly why horny couples all over the world are having sex in the Airbnb they're vacationing in. It's a vacation, it's novel, it's exciting--so it's only natural that people get horny.

But should you have sex in an Airbnb? You know, because more often than not, that adorable little house you’re getting freaky in is someone’s home that they live in when they’re not renting it out to total strangers.

Obviously, hosts know people are having sex in their homes. On the bed, in the shower, on the name it. But how do they feel about it? Are they fine with it? Or do they seriously wish you'd just keep it in your pants?

Elite Daily read through some Reddit threads and found out how Airbnb hosts really feel about guests having sex -- and not surprisingly, they're all super cool with it. In fact, some of them totally encourage it.

"Bang away."

"As a host, I assume people do it. The bed is fine, but it would be rude to do it on the couch, etc. without having a sheet on it first. It is expected that your host will change the sheets on the bed afterward go at it."

"I know that folks definitely have sex in my Airbnb rooms, but most of them have been considerate. Just keep it quiet and clean up after yourselves! The worst is when I hear people going at it, or have to clean up used condoms from random places. Don't be those people and you'll be fine."

"Personally I don't mind if two registered guests are hooking up (though I'd rather they did it quietly). I don't approve of random strangers coming into my house, though, and my house rules clearly state that I only let registered guests in."

"I am a host. Keep it quiet and I don't care as long as you are both registered guests. Serenade me with it and we will have a problem. Also, don't leave the sheets disgusting from your activities. #IJS"

"Limit it to the bedroom and the shower. Hosts don't react well to body fluids on their furniture."

So, to sum this up: Yes, you should definitely have sex in an Airbnb. But out of courtesy to the homeowner and the other people who are going to stay there, try not to get cum everywhere, and clean up after yourself. It's the least you can do.
