An anonymous C-Span caller from Utah is the hero this country deserves.
On Thursday’s edition of Washington Journal on C-Span, host John McCardle fielded questions from viwers at home for Rep. Dave Brat, the Virginia Republican best known for ousting House Majority Leader Eric Cantor during the 2014 midterm elections.
A self-described Democrat from Utah called in with a one-two punch: “My question is, we’re spending all this money, where are we getting the money from? And my second question is if I can shit in your mouth?”
McCardle quickly ended the call, telling Brat, “We don’t take that kind of language here on the Washington Journal.”
Considering that trust in the federal U.S. government is at a historic low, this Utah man seems to sum up exactly how Americans feel about their elected officials right now.
