Applications at Italy's police academies could quadruple overnight thanks to their new toy courtesy of Alfa Romeo – this Giulia Quadrifoglio QV designed for the Carabinieri, aka the country's national military police force. Thanks to its Ferrari-sourced 505 hp engine it can hit 0–60 in 3.8 seconds.
Aside from its impressive power, the new whip has some 007-style gadgetry including various touchscreen displays, communications equipment, flashlights, a defibrillator, strobe lights and more. It's not quite on the level of Dubai's insane emergency vehicles but pretty sweet stuff nonetheless.
Officers will need to attend a special Alfa driving school to learn how to master it.
It also has a manual transmission, so they better learn how to drive stick...
