This ‘Stealth Green’ Military-Inspired Dayboat Is A 900-HP Brabus Beauty

The award-winning speedboat is stealthier than ever with its latest edition.

The menacing style Brabus has perfected with packages for Mercedes-AMG, Porsche and Rolls-Royce exotics is headed back out on the water in the new Shadow 900 Stealth Green Signature Edition.

It’s the latest in a line of Brabus Shadow 900 speedboat variants, all of which are based on an excellent Red Dot-winning design by Finland’s Axopar Boats.

Available in roofless, open and closed-cabin configurations, the core platform remains—dual 4.6-liter V8 outboard racing engines crank out a combined 900 horsepower, allowing the V-shaped sharp entry hull to cut through the water at up to 60 knots (69 mph).

Like the Shadow 900 Black Ops edition, the helm is styled like a supercar cockpit, with fingertip controls, backlit switches, a multifunctional steering wheel, and a full HD touchscreen display that runs Brabus’ user interface with navigation and G-shock monitoring in unfavorable conditions. As a clever tie-in, a digital version of the Brabus x Panerai Submersible S skeletonized dive watch also renders on the display.

The Shadow 900 Stealth Green Signature Edition stands out from other editions with color. The exclusive paint job renders the majority of surfaces in a militaristic green hue and adds and exclusive cross-hatching pattern in black on the bow end of the hull, while more black carbon fiber provides contrast on the fender box and dashboard panels.

But below deck in the queen bed-furnished front lounge, the interior diverges with a combo of cool gray and black leather cladding featuring contrast red accents.

Numerous options are available. An integrated 42-inch flat-screen 4K TV can be installed in the front lounge, and overnight occupancy can be doubled by adding an queen-size bunk in the aft cabin. An unspecified “multi-storage package” adds space for water sports gear, while the topside can be fitted with a gas cooktop on a wet bar.

The more pragmatic seafarers might opt for the Extended Navigation package, which includes two additional nine-inch monitoring screens, on-board connectivity via a 4G mobile WiFi router, native radar, five-inch touch display with digital light switching for the front lounge, and a Brabus lock box.
