Actor, director, and all-around street style savior Jonah Hill's inaugural Adidas sneaker has finally been unveiled with a release date.
It was previously rumored that one of Hill's collaborative silhouettes would be a Superstar, and that rumor was correct. The special edition of the versatile kick gets three colors—core white for the full grain leather upper, off-white for the toe box and rubber outsole, and "Green Night" for the laces' stitching effect and heel counter.
Handwritten embroidery—also in green—spells "Superstar" and "JH." The overall aesthetic is meant to be a nod to the 1990s music scene. It's a fitting theme given that Hill's acclaimed directorial debut Mid90s boasted a stellar soundtrack stacked with retro hip-hop and punk rock.
Adidas has a history of collaborating with high-profile figures, including Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, WWE legend Ric Flair and Beyoncé. The rest of Hill's collection hasn't been announced, but Highsnobiety previously predicted that a Samba silhouette could be on the way.
The Adidas x Jonah Hill Superstar drops in the U.K. on April 10 with a $137 price tag, while a U.S. release date has yet to be announced.
