The Best Lego Batcave Ever

Yes, we’re obsessed with Lego Batman stuff, shut up and give us back our lunch money.

Yes, we’re obsessed with Lego Batman stuff, shut up and give us back our lunch money.

There are those that would say Lego and comic books are just for kids. We are clearly not those people, as our loving ode to the recently announced Lego Arkham Asylum play set shows. Still, while we adore most official Lego sets, we’re especially in awe of the people who actively go out of their way (or, more accurately, stay at home for long periods) to create the small, plastic brick equivalent of fan fiction. And we especially admire people like Wayne Hussey and Carlyle Livingston, who spent 400 hours making a Lego Batcave that weighs over 100 lbs and uses over 20,000 pieces, because, really, that’s just hilariously awesome.

You can see their enormous collection of photos and videos here, but these are a few of our favorite parts:

They made a realistic (for Lego) looking cave with places for bats to hang out and poop from!

They have a Batmobile, a Batboat and a Batcopter! That means Batman can fight on land, sea and air, just like G. I. Joe! We get that using this many exclamation points only makes us seem even nerdier, but we don’t care! Unless you’re an attractive grown up woman reading this, in which case we do!

The absolute best part of all: Batman just cold chillin’ with his butler and a glass of something that, well, probably isn’t alcohol because, y’know, Batman, but still – totally baller as fuck.
