I scream, you scream, we all scream for this boozy milkshake made by William Ward, beverage director for the Beach at Dream Downtown Hotel in N.Y.C. Brain freeze!
Honey and Almond Milkshake
“This drink is a grown-up version of a milkshake that can be enjoyed year-round, but especially during summer,” says Ward. “The floral qualities of honey, the sweetness of almonds, and the rich flavor of vanilla all go perfectly with the flavors found in Evan Williams Honey Reserve.”
1 oz. Evan Williams Honey Reserve
½ oz. amaretto liqueur
¼ oz. honey
½ oz. unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop softened vanilla ice cream
Crushed almonds (for garnish)
Combine honey, almond milk, and both liqueurs in a cocktail shaker and stir until honey is completely dissolved. Add ice and ice cream and shake. Pour into a tall glass and top with crushed almonds.
