Ford Teases Focus RS With Behind-the-Scenes Video

As the world waits for the 2016 Focus RS, Ford shows the work that is going into building it.

Ford will only build a couple hundred examples of the hyper-desirable GT supercar next year, leaving even those with the money to buy one out of luck. But Ford Performance aims to have a product for everyone, so it is developing a new 2016 Focus RS to appeal to fans of max-performance hot hatches.

The car won’t be available until next year, but to whet appetites, Ford has dropped this video showing its engineers toiling to provide the expected performance while exorcizing the inevitable bugs that arise. This trailer provides an overview for the video series.

The first episode introduces racer Ken Block as a contributor to the development of the Focus RS.
