Sexy Beast: The Aston Martin V-12 Vantage S Roadster

Aston Martin beat their most powerful convertible and, inexplicably, handed us the keys.

We loved the Aston Martin V-12 Vantage S, a glamorous rocket-sled of a coupe so powerful and stunning to behold that we tried desperately to hold on to it, just in case the execs at Aston Martin forgot we had it. Then they gave us the droptop Vantage S Roadster painted a comely China Gray with red-threaded carbon-fiber detailing, and we decided the best place to spend a day with the top down would be the high desert of California, where the temperature at midday is 107 degrees.
