The speed-coffee-and-nothing-obsessed comedian was captured on camera in the Hamptons driving a swell new Porsche 918 Spyder.

Comedian and sitcom legendJerry Seinfeld has apparently dropped serious coin — that’s about $900,000 plus whatever ludicrous fees the State of California places on supercars — on a Dark Metallic Blue Porsche 918 Spyder, in which he was spotted cruising around Malibu.

The video shows a cool Seinfeld tumbling into the low-slung seat of the electrically-supercharged roadster, with nary a word to the obnoxious paparazzo in his face. As one of the United States’ premier Porschephiles, Seinfeld buying a Porsche—whether an original bathtub Carrera, his recently bumper-rashed 911 RSR, or this dazzling 918—amounts to the world’s top automotive endorsement.
