Bill Nye Returns To Save The World With New Netflix Series

Our favorite TV scientist is coming back to blow our minds.

Hours after appeasing the fans of Stranger Things with a season two renewal, Netflix has announced that it’ll also be bringing Bill Nye to the streaming service for a brand new talk show.

Bill Nye Saves the World, coming to a screen near you, will feature “The Science Guy” covering a range of topics, all meeting up at the experimental middle ground of science. Along with Nye’s usual trials and demonstrations, expect plenty of surprise special guests to join him:

“Since the start of the Science Guy show, I’ve been on a mission to change the world by getting people everywhere excited about the fundamental ideas in science,” said Nye in a statement. “Today, I’m excited to be working with Netflix on a new show, where we’ll discuss the complex scientific issues facing us today, with episodes on vaccinations, genetically modified foods and climate change. With the right science and good writing, we’ll do our best to enlighten and entertain our audience. And, perhaps we’ll change the world a little.”

Get your goggles at the ready. Bill Nye Saves the World will debut on Netflix in Spring of 2017.
