Watch the Ultra Violent, Ultra Funny New Trailer for ‘Deadpool’

Everyone’s favorite Merc With a Mouth has been counting down the days to Christmas with a teaser-packed ‘12 Days of Deadpool.’ On Christmas Day, Ryan Reynolds finally left a little something for us under the tree: a brand new, blood-spattered, joke-riddled red band trailer for Deadpool.

“It’s Christmas Day,” a masked Reynolds tells an unsuspecting cab driver, “and I’m after someone on my naughty list.”

The new trailer is filled to the brim with references that will delight die-hard Marvel fans. Colossus finally speaks? Check. Negasonic Teenage Warhead goes nuclear? Rising from the rubble of X-Men Origins: Wolverine? Check. A maybe-cameo by boned B-list X-Man Marrow? Check, sort of! Lots of shooting and stabbing and laughing? Check, check, check.

“You’re probably thinking this is a superhero movie, but that guy in the suit just turned that other guy into a fucking kabob!” quips Deadpool while running some poor henchman through the gut with his swords. “Surprise: This is a different kind of superhero story.”

Deadpool opens in theaters on February 12th, 2016.
