Six months after announcing at D23 Expo that both Disney Parks will make room for Star Wars-themed areas, Han Solo—that is, Harrison Ford—gave us a closer look at what those intergalactic experiences will entail during ABC’s recent Disneyland 60 special.

Sure enough, you’ll be able to steer the Millennium Falcon and fire its laser cannons. The other anchor ride will put you amidst a fierce battle between Resistance fighters and Stormtroopers.

In true Disney style, you’ll be able to mix and mingle with all manner of aliens and other unsavory characters, fully dressed the part. In fact, everything you see, hear, touch and taste will have an otherworldly aspect to it.

Given that level of details, you can expect it to be a few years before the Star Wars Experience is open. So that puts the over/under right about when Episode IX hits theaters…
