Watch Kanye West’s ‘American Idol’ Audition

You’ve never heard “Gold Digger” like this.

Kanye West will be the first to tell you that he is a) amazing and b) has an amazing sense of humor. His appearance in an episode of the final season of American Idol became the perfect platform for West to re-introduce himself as the ultimate winner of everything (at least in his own eyes) by “auditioning” for judges Harry Connick, Jr., Jennifer Lopez, and Keith Urban during their open call in San Francisco. You can now see video of his full audition and the best part about it — even more so than his off-the-cuff version of “Gold Digger” — is the judges’ various “WTF” faces.
