The Latest Trailer for ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ Promises Complete Destruction

Back in 1996, Will Smith welcomed our alien invaders to Earth with a punch to the noggin. Now, they’re back and hellbent on finishing what they started.

Fox’s latest full-length trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence gives us a deeper look at the cast, but new and old. With Smith MIA this time around, it’s up to his on-screen son Jessie Usher, Liam Hemsworth, and regular player Jeff Goldblum to put an end to this alien menace once and for all.

“It’s 4th of July,” Usher’s character says. “Let’s show ’em some fireworks.”
