The nostalgic tribute, which clocks in at nearly five minutes long and is set to Simple Minds’ 1985 track “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” perfectly captures the cinematic zeitgeist at that time: Focused on the precipice between youth and adulthood and rife with disappointments, fights, and adolescent lust.
