Close First Round Action

No teams look to be running away with their opening rounds besides the Sharks and (possibly) the Capitals. The Kings and the Wild pulled a game back on their opponents with game three wins, while the other four series split the first two games right down the middle.

Canadiens vs. Senators Gets Rowdy

Our neighbors to the north have not been living up to the Canadian stereotype of friendliness – their series has been touchy to say the least. To say the most, it’s been a runaway train featuring big hits, cheap shots, and two entire lines going at it simultaneously, resulting in a record 236 penalty minutes. Jean-Gabriel Pageau even netted a hat trick, but no one noticed amid all of the face-punching.

Pittsburgh is Just Like Cobra Kai

Ralph Macchio jumped on the Islanders train, tailgating outside of the Coliseum with his son and some friends.

In other news, Ralph Macchio has an adult son and is 51. WHAT?!
