Who the hell has time to actually watch everything on TV? Emmys host Andy Samberg tackled one of the great problems of our day and age in his hilarious opening number. In the musical bit (reminiscent of his great Lonely Island work) of he plays a man who seals himself in an underground bunker after decided that he needs to watch everything — literally everything — on TV in order to be a culturally enlightened member of society. Spoiler: It doesn’t go well for him. (Kudos for the Jon Hamm and Kerry Washington cameos, along with the Billy Crystal and Les Miserables references.) You know, while we’re at it, let’s go ahead and give Andy Samberg an Emmy for actually having an awards show opening number that manages to be funny.
