But beware: pharmaceuticals, which bestow performance bonuses—smoking weed grants slow-mo effects, consuming crack awards one-shot kills—also have detrimental side effects. Ingest evidence rather than confiscate it and you’ll develop embarrassing addictions you can kick only via meter-driven mini-games, or you’ll get busted in a random drug test. Play dirty and you may lose your badge, proving the long arm of the law isn’t above reaching into anybody’s trousers and squeezing hard.
