With Back to the Future celebrating its 25th anniversary this 4th of July weekend, we take a fond look at the mothers of motion pictures whom we feel conflicted over having the hots for.

Blame it all on Lea Thompson; 25 years ago, her turn as young Lorraine Baines had us all looking at moms on the big screen in a different light. (A light that made us feel very, very dirty.) So thanks, Hollywood, for messing with our minds and serving up these man-eating matriarchs who we just can’t take our eyes off of, whether they’re wearing a prom dress, a funky Amish hat, or pretending to find Rick Moranis attractive.
