You know that feeling you get when you see a trailer that looks sorta funny, but then you realize, Ive felt this before, but the movie has always sucked. Well, we approached Super Troopers with that same sort of trepidation, but we can happily announce that we laughed our asses off.
Super Troopers made us realize that, after the likes of Slackers, Black Knight, Shallow Hal, and countless other comedies, we still do, in fact, have a sense of humor. It wasnt us after all! Those movies really were just that unfunny! Whew! What a relief. This tale of a group of offbeat state policemen and their less-than-professional hijinks (or shenanigans, but thats a joke youll get only after you see the movie) is just really funny. We cant explain it, we dont want to, and we dont have toalthough the likes of Afghanimation (a joke that shows a lot of foresight on their part, huh?) and the de-lousing scene had us snickering long after the movie was over. Find where its playing and see it.
