Yesterday, the Lonely Island released the “Semicolon,” the best song about grammar since Vampire Weekend unleashed “Oxford Comma” on us five years ago. The third track off the upcoming The Wack Album, the song features Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer hilariously misuse one of our favorite punctuation marks, all while rhyming “Gretsky” with “jet ski,” “Oxnard” with “Ox Nard” and “Demi Brolin” with—wait for it—”Semicolon.”


Due out June 11, The Wack Album features guest spots from Lady Gaga, Pharrell, Adam Levine, Kendrick Lamar, and Samberg’s “Dick in a Box” compadre, Justin Timberlake; meanwhile, Solange sings the hook on “Semicolon,” and Maya Rudolph plays the teacher (we’re 90% sure we used a semicolon correctly there). The release is part of the band’s #WackWednesdays series, where they unveil a new song or video every week until the album’s release. Previous installments include “I Fucked My Aunt”:
