Aston Martin Just Unveiled A Brand New James Bond Car

The iconic British brand pays tribute to 007 with a special edition DB9.

Aston Martin recently reminded us of its amazing future and racy present with the Vulcan and Vantage GT3, and now the auto brand is cultivating its heritage with a special James Bond edition DB9 GT ahead of the release of Spectre that further cements Aston’s long association with cinema’s favorite super spy.

The new $237,000 version of the DB9  features primarily visual cues to distinguish it from past DB9s, including unique ten-spoke, gloss black, diamond turned 20-inch wheels, a carbon fiber splitter up front and diffuser in the rear, a bright aluminum grille, hood vents and side strakes.

Door sill plates and embroidery on the leather upholstery also denote the new Bond Edition DB9. Of course, 007 can’t exactly roll into Monte Carlo improperly accessorized, so Aston has ensured that the 150 fortunate buyers will represent his stylish legacy.

To that end, each Bond DB9 comes with  an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra James Bond Limited Edition watch and a 21-inch Globe-Trotter suitcase to hammer home the Bond fantasy. But even if you’re staying put in the driver’s seat, this special-edition DB9 is sure to provide a license to thrill.
