Friday night’s sell-out crowd at the Horseshoe Riverdome in Bossier City, La., watched one hell of a tournament as the Middleweight Quarterfinals rocked the cage. These are the moments to cut out and put in your Fighting Scrapbook.

Norman Paraisy (L) connects with a left jab against Maiquel Falcao in the quarterfinals of the Bellator middleweight tournament. That wasn’t enough to bring him down. Falcao won by unanimous decision. Next time try punching with both hands, Norman. Both hands! At the same time.

With a punch that could make your hair hurt, Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (R) connects with a right hand against Victor O’Donnell.

The punishment continues as Vasilevsky (R) connects with a left jab against O’Donnell. O’Donnell saves his shoulder by blocking the jab with his face. (We taught him that.) Oddly, he still lost! Vasilevsky won by unanimous decision.

Trey Houston (L) gets the fight-ending armbar against Jeremiah Riggs in the first round of a preliminary fight. Around the office, this submission hold is more commonly called the “Hey, quit it! Come on! Guys! Come on!”

Brian Rogers (L) connects with a right hand against Vitor Vianna in the quarterfinals. Rogers won via KO thanks to an impressive flying-knee, which is ten times more menacing and nightmarish than a flying cricket.

While Vianna (L) enjoys an ill-timed nap, Rogers (R) celebrates his fight-ending flying knee in the first round of the quarterfinals of the Bellator middleweight tournament.
