Seattle has become the Baltimore of professional sports? Where exactly does that moronic comment come from? The M's had a bad year, a year after finishing over .500. The Seahawks win the NFC West every year. I like how you give the yankees a pass for missing the playoffs, despite having (by far) the highest payroll in baseball. Or giving Derek Jeter a pass, despite making $22 million this year, and having a miserable year at the plate and being the worst defensive shortstop in the majors, then trying to blame the yankees' woes on Arod, even though he's the best player on that team. It's apparent you know nothing about baseball...try leaving the baseball reporting to the professionals from now on, ok? Please try to

Aren't the Mariners one of the only 2 teams that hasn't won a championship? Has any seattle team for any sport ever won a championship for that matter? Btw the answer is no

Why leave out the Pirates ? They finish behind the Reds every year.
