Katy Perry Trolls Press With Move From the Marshawn Lynch Playbook

One-time Maxim Hot 100 Champion and full-time pop princess Katy Perry brought a bit of Marshawn Lynch-style reticence to a her recent Super Bowl press conference. When asked who she had her eye on, a steely-faced Perry intoned, “I’m just here so I won’t get fined.”

Singing, dancing, trolling: We love Katy regardless. We love her willingness to poke fun at the inanity of press conferences, and her commitment to staying perfectly on-brand and over-the-top with matching football-printed shirt and tiny pigskin earrings. After leaving her questioner miffed if amused, Katy ended the conference with the assurance that nothing about her performance would be deflated. We know, Katy—you’ve never had issues with your stupendous convexities.
