There Are Over 3,000 Cereal Combinations Possible At This Incredible Sneaker Shop

And we want to try every single one.

The newly re-opened Kith location in Brooklyn is a player’s paradise for sneakerheads and an exercise in nostalgia for everyone else.


Outfitted with a Kith Treats cereal bar, Air Jordan II casts hanging from the ceiling, an installation of special sneaker styles up front, and a hidden VIP room, sneaker legend Ronnie Fieg unveiled the space in all of its glory Monday night to a packed crowd with the likes of Victor Cruz, YesJulz and Joey Bada$$ in the mix.

“This is a childhood dream of mine. At 12 or 13 years old I wanted to open a cereal bar,” the sneaker maestro told the Observer about the custom, decked out breakfast nook in the store. “I started when I was 13 in retail, selling footwear and apparel, and this took a back seat. Now that I’m in a position to do this, I want to make it happen. So, the idea behind this really is to build your own box.”


With 24 different cereal flavors (we’re talking classics like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cocoa Puffs and Lucky Charms), 25 different toppings (crushed Oreo, Snickers bar or cookie dough anyone?) and five different types of milk, that box could contain one of over 3,000 different variations on your favorite Saturday morning dish from your childhood. Specialty combos include The Don by Don C, The Agassi by Andre Agassi, and The Bam Bam by Action Bronson, which contains Rice Krispies Treats, Cookie Crisps, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Kit Kat, Oreo, Marshmallow  Charms, and Skim Milk.  An ice cream menu, one-of-a-kind mini shoeboxes as containers, and a walkup window round out a space that’s destined to be way more than just a spot for picking up a pair of kicks.

Designed in collaboration with Snarkitecture, the venue feels a little more like a sneaker museum than a shop. 750 casts of white Air Jordan II sneakers hang from the ceiling while leather slides from Buscemi, Wallabees from Clarks and exclusive sneaker variations like the Nike Air Oscillate “Safari” dot the shelves. With the shoes front and center, Fieg fills in the space with books on sneaker culture and design as well as designer apparel from John Elliot + Co, Pierre Balmain and more. 


This place is paradise. You may come for the kicks, but you’ll never, ever want to leave.
