Although classic waterproof boots will still get you far this fall—from hiking to raking to the job site—Timberland’s kicking up the style meter a notch or two with a few fashion-forward models.

Starting with their new 6-Inch Premium Brogue, which features Timberland’s exclusive Quartz leather, naturally tanned with oils and plant dyes instead of chemicals. The wingtip style makes them almost acceptable to wear with your best boardroom suit, and they’re just as at home with a pair of jeans.

These limited edition brogues are available for $250 in Chestnut or Black on the Timberland site, as well as at various retailers. It’s a fancy yet rugged, versatile boot for indoors and out.

Of course, if you just want a more basic boot, their standard 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boots ($190) will get the job done in a variety of colorways. But we’re big fans of the all-black Nubucks shown above. Packing recycled insulation and anti-fatigue technology, they’ll certainly keep you warm, dry and comfy when you’re on your feet all day.

If you find yourself still wanting for another terrible Tim this fall, we recommend the Smuggler’s Notch 8-Inch Cap Toe that the brand just introduced in August. Full-grained leathers are hand finished for a decidedly vintage look, pairing with outsoles that offer the strength, traction and flexibility you demand.
