Don’t get us wrong, we like Hunter Pence. Good player. Seems like a nice guy. But damned if the dude doesn’t look kind of like a redneck, especially now with his straggly playoff beard. And while we can’t confirm that Pence recently stumbled out of the Appalachian sticks and onto the ball field, we also can’t confirm that Prince Fielder and Pablo Sandoval weren’t separated at birth. And if that’s not ironclad logic, we don’t know what is.


So Tigers fans, every time Pence comes up to the plate, we’d like to encourage you to yell at him to squeal like a pig. If that doesn’t rattle him, nothing will.
