When it comes to these health care hotties, they make our hearts race in more ways than one.

Michelle Trachtenberg as Chloe Payne in Mercy-

It was kind of weird seeing a barely-18 Trachtenberg showing some skin in 2004's Eurotrip (she was in Harriet the Spy and played Buffy's little sister, people), but those guilty days are long gone. As rookie nurse Chloe Payne on the new Jersey City-based series Mercy, Trachtenberg actually gives us a reason to hang out in Jersey.

See her Girls of Maxim gallery.

Watch Mercy Wednesdays on NBC at 8/7c.

Kate Walsh as Addison Montgomery in Private Practice-

What's a hot redhead to do after departing a super-successful medical drama? Star in another one! Walsh's Dr. Addison Montgomery jumped ship from Grey's Anatomy to her own spin-off, Private Practice, leaving us wondering if there's any way to hang out with a smokin' neonatal surgeon without a pregnant wife/girlfriend in tow.

Watch Private Practice Thursdays on ABC at 10/9c.

Katherine Heigl an Izzie Stephens in Grey's Anatomy-

Izzie Stevens may have had a rough season last year (seriously, a second brain tumor?), but even with he head wrapped in bandages, we couldn't take our eyes off of Heigl. Luckily for us, her character's made a full recovery on the show, and Heigl seems content to kick it at Seattle Grace a little longer.

Get more of Katherine Heigl in her Girls of Maxim gallery!

Watch Grey's Anatomy Thursdays on ABC at 9/8c.

Olivia Wilde as Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley in House-

If all bisexual, self-destructive diagnosticians were as hot as Thirteen here, we'd probably keep 'em already the hospital as well. Fun fact: This is Wilde's second stab at a bisexual character, having played a both-ways bartender on The O.C.
Shouldn't there be some sort of award for that?

Want more of Olivia Wilde? Check out her Girls of Maxim gallery!

Watch House Mondays on FOX at 8/7c.

Sarah Chalke as Dr. Elliot Reed in Scrubs-

Bar none, our favorite chatterbox M.D. with a guy's name and self-esteem issues. Chalke's Dr. Elliot Reed can't seem to catch a break in the relationship department (engaged to an intern named "Dudemeister"? Ouch), but if Scrubs ever actually goes off the air, we'll miss her...and her agreeableness to showing cleavage.

Check out Sarah's Today's Girl gallery.

Watch new episodes Scrubs coming in 2010 on ABC.

Tamara Taylor as Dr. Camille Saroyan in Bones-

Trying to figure out exactly what a forensic pathologist does makes our heads hurt, but perhaps Dr. Camille Saroyan is available for a private tutoring session? As head of the Forensic Division on Bones, Taylor's boss lady gets to watch as Booth and Brennan play cute, but you'd have to be on a slab to feel the heat she's giving off.

Check out her hot coworker, and another hot doctor, Emily Deschanel.

Watch Bones Thursdays on FOX at 8/7c.

Lisa Edelstein as Dr. Lusa Cuddy in House-

Has there ever been a more cuddly dean of medicine than Dr. Lisa Cuddy? (Please don't tell her we said that.) We're still reeling from her strip tease scene at the end of last season (House, you dog!), and we're actually looking forward to seeing how her relationship with her perpetual foil plays out.

Watch House Mondays on FOX at 8/7c.

Amy Brenneman as Dr. Violet Turner in Private Practice-

Brenneman's Oceanside Wellness Centre psychiatrist, Violet Turner, had rough go of it last season, when a crazed patient was convinced that the pregnant Violet was carrying her baby and wanted to cut it out of her. (Got all that?) Questionable plot lines aside, Brenneman's psych can treat us anytime.

Watch Private Practice Thursdays on ABC at 10/9c.

Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres in Grey's Anatomy- Ramirez packs a one-two punch; not only does she get our blood boiling as orthopedic surgeon Callie Torres (who has entered a lesbian relationship with fellow docs Erica Hahn and now Arizona Robbins), but she gets major props for a Tony Award-winning role as the Lady in the Lake in "Monty Python's Spamalot." Win-win!

Watch Grey's Anatomy Thursdays on ABC at 9/8c.

Aimee Garcia as Marisa Benez in Trauma-

Though Garcia has some medical training, so to speak, after appearing on an episode of ER 10 years ago, she's best known for her role as spoiled niece Veronica on George Lopez. But as helicopter pilot Marisa Benez on NBC's new series Trauma, she'll have plenty of men asking for an airlift, injured or not.

Want more Amy? Check out her Today's Girl gallery.

Watch Trauma Mondays on NBC at 9/8c.

Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey in Grey's Anatomy-

The surgical residents who populate Seattle Grace don't have a typical bedside manner, if you get our drift. No? They're crazy hot. Chyler Leigh has entered her third season as a cast regular, playing Meredith Grey's younger half-sister Lexie Grey. Sisters, you say? Hmmm...

More photos of Chyler are just a click away.

Watch Grey's Anatomy Thursdays on ABC at9/8c.

Anastasia Griffith as Nancy Carnahan in Trauma-

As paramedic Nancy Carnahan, Griffith is a res-cutie who first and foremost has the lives of others on her brain. Her character may possess an MD, but a stuffy hospital job would be the pits. A fresh-air and blood kinda gal? Works for us!

Watch Trauma Mondays on NBC at 9/8c.

Jennifer Morrison as Dr. Allison Cameron in House-

As immunologist Dr. Allison Cameron, Morrison plays a doc who finds herself attracted to damaged goods and crushes hard on House himself in the second season. The actress got her big break playing Richard Gere and Sharon Stone's daughter in 1994's Intersection, and her first lead in 2000's Urban Legends: Final Cut.

Check out Jennifer's Girls of Stuff gallery.

Watch House Mondays on FOX at 8/7 c.

Kadee Strickland as Charlotte King in Private Practice-

She's certainly not the sweetheart of St. Ambrose Hospital, but as prickly chief of staff Charlotte King, Strickland displays a dominant personality that we can't resist. Oddly enough, Strickland was once considered a rising "scream queen" after nabbing roles in The Grudge and Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid.

Watch Private Practice Thursdays on ABC at 10/9c.

Katherine Moennig as Miranda Foster in Three Rivers- Making organ donation the hottest medical science around, Moenning's rebellious Miranda Foster is our favorite new fire-tempered doc of the season, striving to live up to her deceased surgeon father's reputation on Three Rivers. Bonus points go to Moenning for appearing on The L Word.

Watch Three Rivers Sundays on CBS at 9/8c.
