Kate Hudson Ravishes in Red in Behind the Scenes Shots of the 2016 Campari Calendar

Try to take your eyes off the brand’s new leading lady.

Campari, the Italian bitter apéritif brand, has also been making waves in the fashion world each year since the debut of its annual calendar (with star-studded assists from the likes of Salma Hayek, Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba, Penelope Cruz, Uma Thurman, and Eva Green). So it came as no surprise when the drinkmaker revealed Hollywood bombshell/crowd favorite Kate Hudson as the face of its 2016 ‘BitterSweet’ Campaign calendar.


The photoshoot is true to Campari form, with the color red playing a consistent role. In line with the calendar’s theme, Kate portrays two rival political candidates who embody the flavors of bitter and sweet, all while looking flawless in body-hugging red dresses and jumpsuits. Hudson took to Twitter earlier to express the new challenges of the project, explaining later: “We’re telling a story. I’ve never done anything like that before.”
