That legend that is Mark Hix has only gone and done it again, but this time in London’s Mayfair. Aside from his usual chicken and steak winning combination, he has also chucked lobster in the mix, just to really get us going. The food upstairs is, of course, freakin’ delicious, but as we all know, downstairs is where the fun really gets going. Follow the neon sign down to Mark’s Bar and get in to the chilled out cocktail lounge vibe. Like all good bars, this place may look low key, but it can take a very unexpected turn, so come ready to get down to business, as those doors don’t close until the early hours.

Behind the bar is where the magic happens, and some of London’s most talented mixologists have created a seasonal menu celebrating foraged ingredients and all things British. You won’t find Kate Middleton back there (well, we can’t promise, anyway), but you can get stuck in to a Hixter Fixter with Black Cow Vodka, cassis, and Nyetimber – that’ll fix you right up.
