4 Surprising New Twists On An Old Fashioned

Knob Creek teamed up with a celebrity chef for some strange spins on this old-school cocktail.

An Old Fashioned is among the most perfect cocktails ever created. A splash of good bourbon or rye whiskey, club soda, angostura bitters, an orange peel, some ice, and you’re ready to savor a wonderfully elemental, Mad Men-era drink.  But what if you want to get a little bit weird? Knob Creek teamed up with James Beard Award-winning chef, TV personality and cookbook author Michael Symon to create four new twists on the Old Fashioned, spiking the clubby favorite with everything from candied bacon to fresh blueberries. Whether you prefer the time-honored classic or are down to try one of these oddball expressions, there’s an Old Fashioned for every occasion.
