5 Cocktails For Your St. Patty’s Hangover

It’s March 18th. You’re probably not feeling too well. Keep the party going and the headache away with these boozy hangover helpers!

Marquee‘s The Phoenix

Though the green color of this drink may bring back bad memories of all the stupid things you did last night, it’s got ginger to soothe your stomach! So drink up. 

Ingredients:


1.5 oz of Belvedere


.5 lime juice


.5 simple syrup


Ginger beer

Directions:


Combine the first three ingredients in shaker. Shake. Strain over fresh ice and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime peel.

Bloody Delicious

A little hair of the dog plus some vitamin-filled tomato and celery will leave you feeling like a fighting Irish champ again!  

Ingredients:

1 part UV Sriracha Vodka

1 part UV 103

2 parts tomato juice

1 part celery salt

1 part hot sauce

1 part Worcestershire sauce

Directions:


Mix all ingredients. Serve over ice in a highball glass.

Fresh blueberries are a delicious and nutritious way to start your day. And lemon will help soothe your stomach!

Ingredients:


1.5 oz Grey Goose L’Orange


.5 oz of Strega Italian liqueur


.5 oz fresh lemon juice


.25 oz agave nectar


½ cup fresh muddled blueberries

Directions:


Muddle fresh blueberries in a shaker tin, then combine remaining ingredients. Add ice, shake, and double strain into a cocktail or coup glass (served up). Garnish with blueberries and a lemon peel on a skewer.

Dominicana

Ingredients:


6 drops Bittermens Xocolatl Mole Bitters


3/4 oz Bittermens New Orleans Coffee Liqueur


3/4 oz Punt e Mes


1 1/4 oz aged rum

Directions:


Stir with cracked ice in a mixing glass, strain into a chilled cocktail glass, top with cream and grated nutmeg.

Coffee and cola. Why didn’t we think of a long time ago? Caffeine plus refreshing bubbles is just what you need to get on your feet again. 

Ingredients:


1 part Avión Espresso


2 parts Cola

Directions:


Pour ingredients into a rocks glass over ice. Stir.
