Adam Sandler Just Released a Brand New ‘Chanukah Song’
“Jared from Subway…Goddammit, a Jew?!”
It’s a bit hard to believe, but Adam Sandler’s legendary ‘Chanukah Song’ first premiered on Saturday Night Live in 1994. For Jews like me who grew up with this hilarious ditty while our Christian classmates rocked out to Silent Night, that’s a bit jarring: it means this song is old enough to order a Manischewitz cocktail. I feel old.
But like Sandler’s career, the Chanukah Song just won’t die. Now, the beloved comedian is back with a fourth installment of the holiday ballad, recorded in San Diego and released on Wednesday on the YouTube page of his production company Happy Madison:
