Alexander Skarsgård Is A Vengeful Viking Prince In Epic ‘The Northman’ Trailer

The aggro new trailer for The Northman teases an action-filled fantasy epic that follows a young Viking prince on his quest to avenge his father’s murder.

Set in 10th-century Iceland, the film stars Alexander Skarsgård as the titular Viking and co-stars Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ethan Hawke, Björk, and Willem Dafoe. It’s helmed by acclaimed director Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse).

Skarsgard, last seen playing an Elon Musk-style mogul in HBO’s Succession, looks even more ridiculously jacked in the new trailer than he did in 2016’s Tarzan reboot.
