Watch Antonio Brown’s Twerk-tasic Touchdown Celebration

Then watch him get penalized.

During last night’s matchup with the Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown was doing Antonio Brown things, namely catching passes and scoring touchdowns. The former Dancing with the Stars contestant has also shown a passion for dance, so it was no surprise that he busted a move after scoring a touchdown on a deep ball from Ben Roethlisberger. 

However, the move Brown chose to perform was twerking, and while Victor Cruz can legally salsa, clearly the refs thought Brown went too far and gave him a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for the “inappropriate” gyrations. Immediately Twitter blew up with comparisons to a popular Key & Peele skit which touched on this exact topic. 

The internet was only getting warmed up, however, providing us with these as well.

While the penalty was likely painful, at least Brown’s celebration wasn’t. Which is an improvement considering how much this post-TD celebration must have hurt.

We’re excited to see what celebration comes next for Brown, and with the way he’s performing, it shouldn’t be too long before he gets another opportunity to express himself, likely in ways the NFL (No Fun League) frowns upon.
