Ava Max & Alan Walker Drop New Single ‘Fate’ In Wake Of Max’s FIFA World Cup Performance
The multi-platinum artists just dropped another high-energy, collaborative dance track.

Former Maxim cover star Ava Max is teaming up once again with Norwegian DJ Alan Walker for their second collaboration, “Fate.” Grounded in a hypnotic orchestral melody, the new track features Max’s vocals soaring majestically over a choir buttressed by dance floor beats.
This single comes on the heels of Ava’s recent releases “Kill It Queen” and “Out Of Your Mind,” which came out earlier this year, as well as “Energy” (with BIA) off the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album.
“I had such an incredible time writing from a place of realness and what I feel in this exact moment. It’s a lot more emotional to me when it’s about destiny,” Max says of her latest single in a statement shared with Maxim.

“Fate” marks the latest collaboration between the two artists as both cap off a busy stretch of releases and appearances. Walker recently dropped his sixth studio album, World of Walker, Season One: Rise of the Drones, featuring the singles “Monster,” “Not Home,” and “Void.”

Meanwhile, Max celebrated the inclusion of her “Energy” track with BIA on the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album with their performance of the bouncy single at FIFA’s Countdown Concert in Los Angeles.

Max and Walker previously collaborated in 2021 on the mega smash “Alone, Pt. II” which boasts over 800 million streams on Spotify alone, as well as 478 million-plus YouTube views on the track’s video. Check out the cinematic new lyric video for “Fate” below.
